When I was 14, a friend and I ran our own web design studio. Needles to say we didn't make it into the Forbes 500 but our work got published in real books. — Paperback, even.
Fast forward to college. After two years of studying business (which I thought was the way into creative advertising), I went on to study communication design at the University of Arts in Germany and at the Nottingham Trent University in the UK.
From there I got into advertising (for real). Over the past twelve years, I've been fortunate enough to work for some of the greatest brands and most creative agencies in the world — managing international clients, leading integrated productions and supervising amazing teams with more than twenty creatives across all disciplines. Cool stuff.
That work has been recognized by the international press and many award shows, including the Cannes Lions, the Art Directors Club, the FWA and the Effie Awards. I am also a member of the global ADC and the D&AD.
Born in Germany, I'm now based in Los Angeles. I love analog photography, film, sneakers, cars and the outdoors. Oh, and In-N-Out.
